Chant Engineering is the largest Test Bed manufacturer in the world. Also known in the industry as Prooftest Machines, Chant Test Beds are used to tension test or proof test wire rope, fiber rope, chains, lifting slings, and other types of various lifting gear. All Chant machines will perform proof load testing, destructive (break) testing, cyclic testing, and long term fatigue testing, (depending on options). This is done without any loss in overall capacity.
Chant Test Beds also come standard with fully enclosed frames (ends, top, bottom) and are designed for maximum operator safety. They are built with hydraulically actuated safety guards, ensuring operator security, and covering the entire specimen length.
